ABSTRACT

Today, in COVID environment, the World Wide Web has actually lived to its meaning, as entire world is in the state of lockdown and it’s only Internet that has been able to network the people to share, communicate and interact with each other. From basics to advance level, everything is available here. The Primary objective of Tim Berner’s lee while designing World Wide Web (WWW) was Web for All (WFA), so that information can accessible by all even if someone has disability. That is why web accessibility should be an important factor of every programmers, coder and developer’s (PCD) life. But harsh reality is, many IT Companies and web developers do not consider the accessibility factor while designing web based digital tools and applications. PCD Community think that it is time consuming and will not be worth it and not only this they even have this misconception that it is expensive to do so. In current research work, effort has been made to understand the problems faced by People with Disabilities (PwD) especially those suffering from low vision and color blindness etc and keeping their requirement in mind, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines proposed by W3C were studied, a simple and poignant website was designed which can easily be accessible by person with disabilities. The results achieved have been positive and encouraging.
